Theodore Gill
Theodore Gill, 57, a nephew of Mrs. Grace Updike of 1003 State St., and a former resident o f Newbern, Jersey County, died this morning at Muskogee, Okla.
Gill, who was a government employe, had been in Alaska when he became ill last January and h e was taken to Mayo Clinic at Rochester, Minn., for treatment and later was moved to Muskogee , Okla., where a brother resides.
Gills wife and two children; his wifes uncle, and an airplane pilot were killed in an airpl ane accident two years ago last July when they were on their way from their home in Houston , Tex., to Boston, Mass., to enter the Gills son, John, in a school there.
The plane belonged to Mrs. Gills uncle and was being piloted by his pilot. Bodies of the pla ne crash victims were not found for four months after the accident.
Gill, whose parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Gill of Newbern, had visited Alton last Augus t with his aunt, Mrs. Updike, when he was on his way to Anchorage, Alaska.
John Henry Gill and Misses Anna and Millie Gill of Newbern are cousins.
Funeral services and burial will be at Muskogee
