Engagement of Miss Betty Skinner Announced
Announcement is being made by Mr. and Mrs. John Skinner of Jerseyville of the engagement of t heir youngest daughter, Miss Betty Skinner to Robert Ritter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rltte r of Jerseyvllle.
Miss Skinner was graduated from the Jerseyville Community High School with the class of 195 1 and is employed at Inman's store, Jerseyville.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Jerseyville Community High School, finishing in 1950 . He is employed by the
North End Appliance .Company, Jerseyville.

Ritter
Robert and Betty Ritter of Jerseyville are observing their 40th wedding anniversary today. Ri tter retired after 33 years of service from Jersey County Motors where he was part owner.
He and the former Betty Skinner exchanged vows on Dec. 1,1951, at St Francis Xavier Church i n Jerseyville with the Rev. Griffin officiating.
They are the parents of Mrs. Ron (Pamela) Huff of Cheyenne, Wyo.; Patricia Ritter of Aurora ; Mrs. Joe (Penny) lantria and Mrs. John (Polly) Rutter, both of Naperville.
