Doebner served in the same regiment during the civil war do you think they knew each other? (reply: yes, brothers-in-law) I am thinking yes, and that William K. Gibbons married Samuel H. Doebner?s sister Bertha Doebner, and Samuel H. Doebner married the little Mariah Shelton girl that is mentioned as living with the Hartwell family in 1855. reply: maybe, reasonable; unable to verify or identify parents of little Mariah L. Shelton, though obviously a family member. Middle initial is different.
