- JAMES W. LANDRUM James W. Landrum, 83, of Richton died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. today at Mulberry Cemetery in Richton with burial in Mulberry Cemetery. He was a veteran of World War II and was retired from the U.S. Forestry Service. He was a member and deacon of Mulberry Missionary Baptist Church of Richton. He is survived by his wife, Betty Landrum of Richton; two sons, Ronnie Landrum and Donnie Landrum, both of Richton; three sisters, Beatruce Cooley and Louise Dickerson, both of Laurel, and Eloise Cochran of Birmingham; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Albert Landrum, Carl Landrum, Rufus E. Landrum, Harry Gainey, Mickey Stevison and Gary Stevison. Jones & Son Funeral Home of Richton is in charge of arrangements.
