from Mary M Jones to her aunt, Susan Bounds Butts. Mentions some friends, one being that Susan received a letter from Aurela Seal. Aurela. a child at this time, was the same age as Susan (b 1846), and was the daughter of John Seal, a blacksmith, and his wife Eliza. They were from Mississippi and living in Victoria (1850 census). Mabra worked as a blacksmith, as well, in Victoria; so quite likely he was a co-worker and family friends.
